Do you want to become a driving instructor?

Western Suburbs Driving School is looking for quality instructors. With our methodology and training, you could be part of Perth's most respected driving school.

Our Instructor Training Course offers candidates a practical, hands on approach to instructor training.

Our Cert IV qualified instructor will train you in all aspects of becoming a driving instructor. At the end of your training, you should be able to confidently pass your driving instructors test.

The training course covers some of the following areas:

• D.P.I. requirements for becoming a driving instructor
• Assess your current driving and provide positive feedback
• Instruct you on how to use dual controls
• What to look for in learner drivers' driving techniques
• How to instruct with actual sit ins' on driving lessons
• What the practical driving assessments consists of. The test sheet
• What you will be required to teach a learner driver
• What maneuvers are required for the driving assessment
• Provide guidance to starting your own sub-contract driving school business ie: point you in the right direction
• Visit to a driving test centre to see what and how it all works
• Interactive sessions on driving correctly
• Prepare you for the D.P.I driving instructors assessment

The course duration varies from person to person. It generally takes about six to ten hours of instruction.

Course fees: $75.00 per hour. You only pay for the training you receive.

Working with WSDS offers a flexible working environment with excellent remuneration package with many benefits. Experience is not necessary as we like to train and teach WSDS methods and ideology.
